Digest of Assignments for Sept 27-28

You were supposed to write these in your agenda, but I'm noting these assignments here just in case some of you didn't.

For Fri, 9/28
1. Read the twenty "Quotations About History" and write a brief explanatory analysis of at least five of them. You may do more for extra credit.

For Mon, 10/1
1. Map Quiz - Regions of Texas: Know the 4 major Natural Regions of Texas and the 12 sub-regions. You may take the completely objective/matching version for a maximum grade of 100 (i. e., no extra credit given) or a completely blank version with hefty extra credit opportunities. Study from the map handouts (including the laminated practice map) and the following pages in our Texas and Texans textbook: p. 49, 50, 57, 62, 67.

For Tue, 10/2
1. Finish the "Quotations About History: Thought and Discussion" analysis handout we began in class on Friday. You may add further insights of analysis for Extra Credit.
